Khristi Marilelo Ford

March 27, 1977 — October 1, 2014

As we all knew her…cheerful, smiling, full of humor, always helping others, and living life to the fullest. She fought like a girl until the end!

Khristi Marilelo Ford was born March 27, 1977 to Dorothy Huff and the late Willie C. Huff of Manchester, Georgia. Her earthly journey was completed at her home in Union City, Georgia on September 30, 2014 after a long battle with breast cancer.
As a teenager, Khristi was baptized and became a member of the Greentown Heights Church of Christ in Manchester, Georgia. She has continued to serve faithfully at the Old National Church of Christ in College Park, Georgia until the Lord called her home to rest.

Khristi attended public schools in Manchester until she graduated from Manchester High School in 1995. She then went on to further her education at Tuskegee University and earned her Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. She then continued her studies at Troy State University and there gained her Master's and Specialist Degree.

She became a teacher and later became an assistant principal at Mountain View Elementary School in Manchester, Georgia. Khristi has touched the lives of numerous students, parents and teachers during her years of working in education with the Meriwether County School System.

She was united in holy matrimony to her loving, caring and devoted husband Arthur Edward Ford III on September 4, 1999 and to this union three children were born; one daughter, Armani, and two sons Gianni, and Armarion. She also leaves to cherish her memories her loving and devoted mother, Dorothy Huff; one brother, Ahamad (Hope) Huff; one sister, Monica Dorothia Huff; a grandmother, Christine Waller; a loving mother-in-law, Theresa Ford; a loving father, Arthur Edward Ford Jr. and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who all loved and will miss her dearly.
