Beatrice Harvey Watson was born on March 7, 1936 to the late Dan and Carrie Bell Harvey in Woodland, Ga. the area formally known as Rough Edge. She transitioned from this life on April 13, 2021 after a short illness in Atlanta, Georgia.
Beatrice accepted Christ at an early age, and joined St. Paul C.M.E. Church under the leadership of Pastor J.H. Avery Sr. She continued to sing in the choir throughout her life.
Beatrice was educated in Talbot County School System.
She was married to George Watson and to this union two children were born Gary Darnell Harvey and Jerome Watson. They moved to Miami Florida for several years. Then later she moved to Atlanta, Georgia where she resided until her death.
Beatrice was proceeded in death by her two sons, six brothers and four sisters.
She leaves to cherish her memory grandchildren: Marlo (Lisa) Paggett and Rico ( Lisa) Hampton; Indier Hampton. Great Grandchildren: Marquez Paggett, Nikki and Tez Weaver. One sister: Eunice Copeland; one sister-in-law: Thelma Dickey. Devoted nephews: James Harvey (Bo); A devoted niece Kathy (Keith) Barnes.
She also leaves to cherish her memories a host of great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
Everyone attending this service must wear a face mask and maintain social distance.
