Bessie Mae Rush Johnson

Of a daughter, sister, loving mother, wife, niece, auntie, cousin, and friend to many.

Mrs. Bessie Mae Johnson was born to the Mr. J.C. & Bessie Rush Sr. on Feb. 9,1949 in Manchester, GA.

She later became a member of the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church on the 8th day of April 2016 the lord sent his angels down from heaven to earth to pull up one of his loved, joyful, and kind hearted daughter. Proceed in death is her two brothers: Benny Rush & J.C. Rush Jr., one son Kirvin Johnson, & one granddaughter Michelle Johnson. Bessie (Sister) Johnson leaves to cherish her wonderful memories to her husband Mr. Jack Johnson Sr. Her three kids that she loved dearly, her other son Mr. David Johnson Sr., two daughters, Barbara Rush, and Jackie Johnson.

She also leaves to cherish her loving sisters: Elizabeth Rush (Manchester, GA), Irene Hunt (Wesley), Annie Adams (Manchester, GA), Her brother: Lewis Rush (Warm Spring, GA) Sister-in-law: Mary Thompson (Woodbury, GA), Brother-in-law: Phil Buchanan (Manchester, GA), Major Johnson (Manchester, GA), and Sonny Gatewood (Palmetto, Florida). She leaves to cherish her grandchildren: Keenan Cheeves, David Johnson Jr., and Kelvis Johnson and her three great grandchildren. She leaves to cherish her great aunts: Jimmie Lee Barnes, & Ellen Weaver (Columbus, GA).
A special thanks to her niece: Minister Brenda Anderson. She leaves to cherish her wonderful memories to her friends Patricia Buchanan, Barbara Holmes, Shirlene Campbell, and all the kids she babysitted in the neighbor hood. She became a second mother to many.

She also leaves to cherish a host of family and friends that she loved and that loved and will miss her dearly.
