Mr. Bishop Lee Prather, formally known as Bish, was born August 1,1951 in Manchester, GA to the late Willie and Nellie Prather. He received his formal education at Meriwether County Training School and graduated in 1969. Bishop had the privilege of working for the Mead Company, and the Pathways Center. Bishop accepted Christ into his life at an early age and was previously a devoted member of the Grace Tabernacle Church of Manchester, GA. He later joined the fellowship of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church of Shiloh, GA.
Bishop was preceded in death by his father Willie Prather, mother Nellie Prather, four siblings: Marion Prather, Willie Prather Jr., Shirley Prather, and John Marion Prather.
Bishop departed this life Tuesday, May 5,2016. He leaves to cherish his memory, a devoted wife and caregiver, Martha Prather; Three sons: Cedric Prather(Demetreius), Anthony Copeland, Marcus Warrior (Keisha); One daughter: Makieda Hart(Reno); Two Brothers: Arthur Prather (Betty), Leonard Prather(Lavonnia); Two sisters: Juanita and Lavonne Prather; Grandchildren: Marcquavious, Quadaijah, Alex, Amariah, Markevious. Brother in-law: Willie J. Copeland(Inez), Eddie L. Copeland (Ruby), James E. Copeland; Sister in-law: Shirley M. Copeland, Eunice Copeland, JoAnn C. Watt, Bernice C. Parks. Eight aunts; five uncles and a host of nieces and nephews.
