Bro. Joe Jackson Jr. was the son of the late Mr. Joe Albert Jackson Sr. and the late Mrs. Lauracene Mulholland Jackson. He was born May 11, 1938 in Manchester, Georgia. He department this life on April 21, 2015 at Emory University Hospital.
He gave his life to Christ at an early age.
He was a devoted husband and father. He worked as a Bricklayer, Barber and retired from General Motors.
He was preceded in death by three sisters and seven brothers.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife: Emma Mae Jackson. Ten Children: Gloria Owens (Truman), Chris Jackson (Valarie), Pamela Brown (Darrnell), Lauracene Neal (Charlie), Tammie Howard, Teresa Jackson, Micheal Jackson, Ayanna Martin (Nicholas), Rodney Johnson and Joe Jackson (Tiffany) all of Manchester, GA.; Three sisters: Laura Copeland of Manchester, GA.; Patricia Ervin and Shirley Jackson both of Atlanta, GA.; One brother-in-law: John Parks (Virginia) and two sisters-in-law: Betty Ann Jackson and Nettie Jackson. Twenty - eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
