Bro. John Hodo "Bill" was born on January 15, 1940 in Greenville, Georgia to the late John and Daisy Hodo.

Bro. John Hodo departed this life on March 7, 2015 at the Grady Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia.

He was united in Holy Matrimony to Mattie Terry of Manchester, GA. He was preceded in death by one sister Eva Mitchell.

He leaves to cherish his memories a wife: Mattie Hodo. Children: Shelia Davis (Richard) of Houston, TX.; Kirk Hodo, of Alabama Barry Hodo (Sherrie), Darron Hodo (Sherry), Brenda Hodo, Mary Hodo and Quincy Mullins all of Manchester, GA.; four Sisters: Carrie Mitchell, Mary Smith, Betty Chislom (Bobby) all of Manchester, GA. and Karyn Thomas (Harrison) of Columbus, GA.; one brother: Larry Hodo of Manchester, GA; three sister-in-laws: Jennie Jenkins, Jonnie Emma, Bonnie Lucas and Betty Ann Terry of California. Two brother-in-laws: James Rufus Terry of California and Larry Terry of Atlanta, GA.; Grandchildren: Shay Hodo, LaShelia Davis, Ferrisco Davis, Brianca Crawl, Delisha Hodo, Travain Sullivan, Keona Neal. Great-grandchildren: Pierre Davis, Juquavious Marshall, K'Toe Marshall and Jayda Howard, Diamond and Trinity McDaniel and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
