Ms. Cathleen Bunkley was born January 3,1945 in Junction City, Ga to the late Mr. George Bunkley and Mrs. Mattie Mae Thornton Bunkley, the youngest of three children.
She was a loving and caring sister, aunt, and friend. "To know her was to love her." She enjoyed being around people and spending time with family. She had a passion for music and entertaining people at her home. Before her health failed, she enjoyed drawing, cooking and sewing.
Cathleen was truly blessed. She departed this life on July 15,2016. She was preceded in death by her loving father George Bunkley; mother Mattie Mae Bunkley.
She leaves to cherish her memory, two sisters: Mrs. Louise B. Mitchell of Talbotton, Ga and Mrs. Leila J. Walker of Woodland, Ga; three aunts: Mrs. Annie Grace Adams of Thomaston, Ga, Mrs. Ruby Kimbrough of Rex, Ga and Mrs. Mary Jane Neal of Talbotton, Ga; four nieces: Brenda J. Blue (Deceased), Lottie Mae Short (Deceased), Muriel Marshall of Manchester, Ga and Carla McCrory of Woodland, Ga; two nephews: John Walker of LaGrange, Ga and Michael Walker of Hampton, Ga; a long-time friend: Sammy Walker of Thomaston, Ga; a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving relatives friends and a special great- grandniece: Leah B. Hall of Talbotton, Ga.
