Christopher Jenkins

Christopher Jenkins was born to Tom & Idell Jenkins on November 8, 1961 in Talbot Co. and ended his earthly journey on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at St. Francis Hospital.

He attended Central High School in Talbotton, GA and graduated in 1979. He worked for Southern Food & Tyson Food for many years. He enjoyed softball, fishing, his cowboy hats, boots and cigars.

Christopher is preceded in death by his father Tom Jenkins, Jr.

He leaves his memories to be cherish by his mother Idell Jenkins; wife Ella Bailey-Jenkins; daughters: Patrice Jones (Lukmon), Charmane Mitchell (Alec) and Je’Asian Bailey; grandchildren: Dre, Treylin, A’Laeja, A’Zyus, Damund and Solana; sister: Charlotte Parks (Alfred); niece: Christy; nephew: Kaiden; four aunts: Bernice King, Manda McCrary (Charlie), Evelyn Boynton (Homer), Gloria Trice and Tiny Byrd; two uncles: Ernest Jenkins (Dorothy) and Bobby Byrd; three sisters-in-law: Adrienne Williams, Melody Bailey and Blanche Bailey; several cousins, relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
