Ciera Nicole Swan

Ciera N. Swan was born October 3, 1987 to Walter and Rose Swan of Manchester, Georgia. She was the second out of four children born to the couple. In the early morning hour on November 9, 2016, God decided to call his angel home.

A Time to Worship

Ciera received the Lord, Jesus Christ at an early age when she joined Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Buena Vista, Georgia. She continued to be a faithful servant of the church, serving as a member of the choir and wherever else she was needed. She always offered a helping hand.

A Time to Lean and Work

Ciera attended Central Elementary High School of Talbotton, Georgia where she was a member of the graduating class of 2006. Ciera was employed at TSYS in Columbus, Georgia until her death. Ciera loved surrounding herself with family and friends. Ciera had a very outgoing personality and would do anything she could to help others.

A Time to be Remembered

Ciera leaves behind to cherish her memories: loving parents Walter and Rose Swan of Manchester, Georgia; beautiful daughter Kiera Swan of Manchester, Georgia, a sister Amber Swan Morgan (Eltronquavious Morgan) of Manchester, Georgia; two brothers Nicholas Swan of Buena Vista, Georgia and Walter Swan, Jr. of Manchester, Georgia. Grandparents are the late Lucille Swan of Buena Vista, Georgia; Phillip and Carrie Swan of Buena Vista, Georgia; the late Joseph and Mamie Jones of Danville, Georgia. A niece Brooklyn Swan and nephew Walter Swan III whom she was raising as her own; godmothers Lavonia Copeland and Brenda Wiggins. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. Special friends: Quaneisha Walton, Christopher Holloway, Keshia Jones, Cassie Copeland Martin, Tomeka Rogers, Theresa Kamen and Candice Dickinson.
