C.L. Copeland

Brother C.L. Copeland was born on June 16, 1946 in Talbot County (Tax, Ga.) to L.C. Harvey and Sarah Copeland. Bro. C.L. Copeland departed this earthly life on July 4, 2017, at Muscogee Manor in Columbus, Georgia.

C.L. attended Ruth Carter School in Talbot County and worked at Callaway Mills ( Manchester) and Thomaston Mill until his retirement.

After retirement, C.L. continued to enjoyed his time with his family and friends until his health began to diminish.

C.L. (Cool Lover") as he liked to be called, lived his entire life in Talbot County. He was known by most people throughout the community. C.L. had many friends and a large family. He enjoyed time with them fishing and hunting.

C.L. leaves to cherish his memories a wife: Annie Ruth Copeland of Manchester, GA., Children: Dexter (Tonji) Copeland of Manchester, GA.; Edward Copeland of Burlington, N.C.; Calvin (Kimberly) Copeland of LaGrange, GA., Marcalie Thomas of Manchester, GA.; Angela and Amanda Copeland both of Manchester, GA.; Five Sisters: Wilvernell Terry (Nell) of Atlanta, GA.; Elizabeth Crawl of Redding, PA.; Mary Gamble of Shiloh, GA.; Brenda Tatum, Sherly Miles of Birmingham, AL.; One Brother: Willie Ed (Rosemary) Copeland, Shiloh, GA.; Three sister-in-laws: Brenda (Willie)Dobbs of Greenville, GA.; Patricia Willis of Manchester, GA.; Joyce (Lorenzo) Willis of Woodbury, GA.; Two Brother-in-laws: Jerry Holt Jr. of Manchester, GA.; Stanley (Sherry) Holt of Manchester, GA.; Thirteen grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss him dearly .
