Clyde Copeland was born on June 24, 1936, in Talbot County to Bennie and Lillian C. Copeland.
He attended Woodland High School and graduated in 1955.
He worked at Goody Products plant until he retired in 1998.
Clyde enjoyed caring for animals (especially birds), playing guitar, listening to the blues, and spending time with his family and friends.
On Sunday, March 27, 2022, Clyde went home to be with the Lord.
He leaves to cherish his memory to: his wife, Sarah Ann Copeland of Warm Springs, GA.; Teresa Ann Senior of Thomaston, GA.; Clyde Copeland Jr of Manchester, GA.; Beverly Lavone and Melvin Pink of Wetumpka, AL.; Melissa Denise and Dean Singleton of Macon, GA.; Nathaniel Copeland of Lagrange, GA.; Sharon Lillian and Leonard Spence of Cedar Creek, TX.; Demetrius Copeland of LaGrange, GA.; Darius Copeland of Newnan, GA.; Gregory Copeland of Warm Springs, GA.; Adrian and Gifty Love Copeland of LaGrange, GA. He also leaves his sister Mattie Rue Terry of Atlanta, GA.; brother Zannie (Patricia)Copeland of Warm Springs, GA.; 18 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren. He also leaves host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that will miss him dearly.
