The Sun Rose on August 6, 1937 and the Sun Set on June 16, 2020 at Sacred Journey Hospice Care in McDonough, Ga.
Bro. David King was born on August 6, 1937 to the late Tommy and Lelia King, he was the youngest of 8 siblings, Sam, Ruth, Marth, Fannie Bell, Nellie, Cherry, Clarence and Gelene all who preceded him in death.
David joined Friendship Baptist Church in Woodland, Georgia at an early age. He worked as a truck driver a job he loved for over 50 years, he was a wonderful and loving father, grandfather and uncle.
He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters: Marilyn (Roderick) Vinson of Loganville, GA.; Dakeba King of Atlanta, GA.; two grandchildren: Miyesha Bryant who preceded him in death and Kingston King. Linda West King who was a very loving and devoted_____. One aunt: Exie King. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends who will miss him dearly.
