Doris Beatrice Rolax

Doris Beatrice Rolax was born on January 7, 1929to the late Daisy Carter and Finley Green in Woodland, Ga.

Doris accepted Christ at an early age and joined Bluff Springs C.M.E. Church.

She transitioned from this life on February 8, 2023, at her home surrounded by family.

Beatrice was educated in Talbot County School System. Doris’s parents wanted her to get the best education and therefore Doris went to board with the Epps Family.

After graduation she met the love of her life Charlie Rolax. The two united in holy matrimony in 1946. They were the proud parents of three children.

Doris is proceeded in death by her one brother Walter.

She leaves to cherish her memory three children: Doris Juanita Rose of Talbotton, GA.; James and Willie Mae Rolax of Shiloh, GA.; Connie and Roland Pope of Atlanta, GA.; five grandchildren: Genovis Pope, Tony Lovette, Shaun Marshall, Jamal Pope (deceased), Brian Rolax, Levere Rose and one great-grandchild.

She also leaves to cherish her memories a host of relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
