Sis. Dorothy Mae was educated at the Ruth Carter School System.
She joined Friendship Baptist Church at an early age.
She was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Gus M. Owens and to this union were two children.
She was employed with Talbot County School System as a paraprofessional.
She leaves to cherish her memories two loving children: Cherie Tabitha Owens of Woodland, GA.; Anderson Reynard Owens of Riverdale, GA.; Three grandchildren: Martez and Davondria Owens both of Manchester, GA.; and Anderson Owens, Jr. of Riverdale, GA.; One great-grandchild: Nyla Owens of Manchester, GA.; A Loving Mother: Odessa Reese of WarmSprings, GA.; five siblings: Mattie Pearl (Joe) Barnes of Detroit, Michigan, Willie Clarence (Ellen) Reese of Decatur, GA.; Yvonne Reese of Woodland, GA.; Vencent U. (Elizabeth) Reese of Manchester, GA.; Aretha R. (Robert) Riggins of LaGrange, GA.; a half brother: Frank (Betty) Reese Jr. of Manchester, GA.; She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, cousins and friends that will miss her dearly.
