A Time To Be Born

Franklin D. McCrory was born on February 20, 1935, to the late Julian and Georgia Lee McCrory in Talbot County. He was the eighth child of fourteen children.

A Time To Live and Love

Franklin grew up and attended school in the Talbot County School System. Franklin worked at the Callaway Mill for many years before moving to Reading, Pennsylvania. He worked at Dana and retired after many years of service.

Franklin met and married Leanour Mendez McCrory on April 17, 1982. He was an avid fishermen, enjoyed playing dominos and loved gardening.  He was a devoted Husband, Dad, Granddad, Brother, Uncle and Friend to all who knew him.

A Time Of Transition

Franklin departed his earthly home to his Heavenly home on Wednesday, October 10, 2018. He was preceded in death by his siblings: Mary George, Edward, Sammie, Betsy, Dorothy, Laura, Lucille, Judy and Barbara Jean.

A Time to Weep and Mourn

Franklin D. McCrory leaves to cherish his memory a loving and devoted wife, Leanour McCrory, eight children, Georgia Ann Eady of LaGrange, GA, Deverly Parham and Vivian McCrory of Manchester, GA, Franklin David McCrory(Angelyn) of Ellenwood, GA; Dexter McCrory(Martina) of Haven Connecticut; Pamela Smith of Dothan, AL.; Laverne Wallace of Fort Lauderdale, Fl.; and Jason Richardson of Columbia, MD.; Thirteen grandchildren: Yolanda, Tyres, Christopher, Nivea, Jacob, Devon, Kacie, Chloe, Elijah Danielle, Mekayla, Logan and Jeremiah. Ten great grandchildren, Gasmyne, Myesha, Graylan, Nathan, Adarius, Gavyn, Jonathan, Jaylen, Messiah and Justin. Two great -great children Zion and Jaden. Three sisters, Gladys Campbell of Detroit, Michigan, Julia Moore of Atlanta, GA.;  and Gloria Harrison(Wiley) of Decatur, GA.; One sister in law Jewel McCrory of Worcester, MA.;  And a host nieces, nephews, relatives and friends that will miss him dearly.
