Ida Mae Wamble

Ida Mae Wamble was born on November 16, 1951 to the late Georgia H. Wamble and L.C. Wamble in Warm Springs, Ga., where she spent the entirety of her life. She departed this life on April 13, 2020 at St. Francis Memorial Hospital in Columbus, Georgia.

Ida attended school at MCT in Warm Springs, Georgia. She worked as a nurses’ assistant at the Warm Springs and the Roosevelt Institute of Rehabilitation, both in Warm Springs, Georgia. She was a long-time member of the Leverette Hill Baptist Church.

She leaves to mourn two children: Stacy (Clayton) Niles and Clint Wamble. She had three grandchildren, Kyntraevius “Trae” Anderson, Arkez Jenkins, and Natalee Gunder. She will be remembered by her great grandchildren: Zyeria Anderson, Arielle Anderson, Caleb Anderson, Jasiah Anderson, Aidan Jenkins, Azaiah Jenkins, and Arkez Jenkins, Jr. Five siblings: Mary Ann Jenkins, Willie Wamble, Frankie Wamble, Latasha Williams, and Yashica Williams. She will be missed by her aunt, Louise Wamble, and uncle, Horace Hixson.

She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will miss her dearly.
