October 6, 1929 — June 8, 2015

Brother James Mosola Perryman, Sr. the son of the late Raymond Jack and Julia Perryman of Talbot County, Georgia was born October 6, 1929. He was lovingly referred to as "Mosola" by family and close friends. He lived in Atlanta for several years before returning home.

He accepted Christ at an early age by joining St. Paul C.M.E. Church and also attended St. Paul C.M.E. School. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, spending time on the bar-be-que grill, and watching wrestling.
Brother Perryman united in holy matrimony with the late Betty Lue Williams and to this union six children were born; two children, James Jr. and Joy Elaine, preceded him in death. He departed this life on Monday, June 8, 2015 at Warm Springs Medical Nursing Home in Warm Springs, Georgia.

He was a jack of all trades and a master of many. He worked at Milliken Mills for a short period of time. He was proud of the work he performed as custodian at First Baptist Church located in Manchester, Georgia for over 30 years. Among his responsibilities, a few included, keeping lawns perfectly manicured, floors shining like mirrors, and windows sparkling. He was an entrepreneur; owning and operating James M. Perryman's T.V. and Antenna Service. He installed rooftop antennas and repaired televisions in the local tri-county area. His wife and partner, Betty, maintained the business records.

He leaves to cherish his memory with love two sons, Mr. Donnie Perryman (Chyvonne), Augusta, Georgia, Mr. David Q. Perryman (Stephanie), Columbus, Georgia, two daughters, Dr. Denise Perryman, Columbus, Georgia and Ms. Doris M. Perryman, Columbus, Georgia. One aunt: Irene Hardnett, Woodland, Georgia.
