Janie B. 'Nola' Houston

Today we celebrate the life of our loving mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friends Janine B. Steed Houston "Nola"

Nola was to the late Josh Steed Sr. and Willie M. Steed on October 13,1953 of Manchester, GA. She was the wife of the late Lee A. Houston of Anniston Alabama. One son and stepson that preceded her in death the late Delphonze T. Houston and the late Lee A. Houston.

One loving aunt that she adored dearly Julia Williams of Miami Florida. And host of uncles and aunts that preceded her in death.

Nola served as a faithful member of Leverette Hill Baptist Church under the great leadership of Pastor T.W. Neal

She leaves to cherish her loving memory 3 children LaWanda D. Couch (Terry), Norcus B. Steed (Wanda), Tasala N. Houston (Stanley), and 1 stepson Donnie Houston, 3 sisters Betty Ann Daniels (Robert), Teresa A. Steed and Charlene Ferguson. 2 brothers Everette Steed (Jessie B.) Watsey L. Steed (Pamela) 3 brothers and 2 sisters that preceded her in death Tommie Lee Steed, Joshua Steed and Willie Pete Steed, Martha J. Hough and Geraldine Steed. One loving brother in law J.C. Hough. 9 grandchildren, 7 boys Laquindrae Dixon, Narkeius Steed, K'myre Couch, DeMario Brown, Adarius Williams, Jaylen Cook and a very special grandson that preceded her in death Katerron Reid and 2 girls Nybreaonne Steed, and Tyapia Cook. 3 great grandchildren Gabrielle Couch, Davion Parham, and Kayden Steed.
And a host of other very special nieces, nephews, cousin, and other relatives that she adored dearly. Her family she loved and supported.
