Jeanette Hixson

Jeanette Hixson, 80 years of age, departed this life in Warm Springs, Georgia on October 30, 2023. Jeanette was born on February 1, 1943 in Columbus, Georgia to the union of Robert Bridges, Sr. and Martha M. Bridges.

Jeanette was married to the late James Hixson for 61 years.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband, James Hixson, son Leroy Hixson, her parents, five brothers and four sisters.

Jeanette lives in the hearts and minds of her four children: Judith Hixson, Lynne Patterson, Jean Hixson, and Kenneth Hixson, Five Grandchildren: Preston (Alima) Capers, James Capers, and Dion Capers, Ariel and Anfernee Patterson, Three Sisters: Vera Bridges, Grace McAfee, and Josephine ( Curtis) Walton, One brother-in –law: Robert (Vonita)Hixson, One sister-in-law: Annie C. (Henry) Green, as well as other family and friends.
