Jennie Lee Copeland

Sis Jennie Lee Copeland was born June 24, 1921, she leaves us to cherish 96 years of rich memories. Jennie Lee was one of 3 children born to the union of the late Mann Copeland and Mabel McAfee.
Sis Jennie Lee attended Talbot County schools and continued to the workforce as a Domestic Engineer.
Sis Jennie Lee was the mother of 7 children. She taught each child the values of being a family and loving each other unconditionally. In her later years, she enjoyed reading her bible, the local newspapers, gardening, working in her flower garden, caring for her cats, solving puzzles and watching the television reality show
"Dancing With the Stars."

Sis Jennie Lee departed with peace and grace on December 30th. She was preceded in death by her sons, Willie James, Bobby and Emmitt, Jr; sibling: Mary Ellison.
Sis Jennie Lee leaves to cherish her memory four children: Edith (Terry) Riggins, Anne (Sylvester) Johnson, Henry and John Giddens; eleven grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and 15 great-great grandchildren; one sibling: Eddie Lee McAfee; special caring family and friends: Jake (Dot) Copeland, Eugene (Peggy) Copeland, Grace Copeland, Mamie Holt, Mary Ann (Michael) Searcy, Jerry Hardnett, Deborah Ransom, David Stevenson; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and other relatives that will miss her dearly.
