Jimmie Mookie Ellison

September 20, 1946 — August 2, 2018

Jimmie Roger Ellison Sr. known as (Mookie) was born on September 20, 1946 in Talbot County to the late Napoleon and Cora Ellison.

On August 2, 2018 Mookie was called home to rest.

He was united in marriage to the late Mary Lee Blue Ellison.

Mookie was an Entrepreneur.  He specialized in Home Improvement and Construction.  Bedsides his family the love of his life was softball.  For over 30 years he played and coached softball for the Longhorn Organization.  He had a loving and giving heart and helped anyone he could.  His family was everything to him.  He loved his family and no matter how much it cost him he made sure his family got together as much as possible.

He joined New Beginning Community Church in 2013 under the leadership of Pastor E.W. Searcy where he was an active member until his health declined.

He leaves to cherish his memories: Jimmie Ellison Jr., Sharon Ellison, Napoleon (Ann) Ellison, Jimmie IV, Tynyah Daniel and LaShanda E. Marshall. One Sister: Clora Slaton, Eddie Lee Ellison, Robert Lewis Ellison  (Joann), The late Booker T. Ellison (Susie Mae), Joe Lewis Ellison(Rosa), JP Ellison, (Betty Fay); Several in- Laws: Helen Andrews (Wilbert), Queen Smith (Amos), Carolyn Coverson (Roger), Johnny Blue (Diane); Eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, one adopted grandson: LaDarius Williams, two adopted daughters: Shakena Smith and Sharenda Robinson.  A host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and friends that he loved with all his heart.
