Joann Clark Barron

Mrs. JoAnn Clark- Barron was born on April 16,1942 to the late Mr. Eddie Clark and the late Eva Mae Holmes of Manchester, GA. She was the second eldest of six children.

The spirit of the Lord lead her to New Hope Baptist Church in Manchester, Georgia where she was baptized and served as a member until her health failed.

She attended the Meriwether County Training School. JoAnn diligently worked for H. Goodman and Sons, Manchester, Ga. The Older Workers Program until her health failed. A loving mother, grandmother and Sister, who knew just the right words to say. God took her home where there is no pain and no sorrow, just unbound joy.

JoAnn was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Walter P. Barron in October 1963, and to this union three children was born.

Joann is proceeded in death by one son: Stanley Barron and one brother: Eddie Clark.

She departed this life on Tuesday October 20, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, GA surround by family.

JoAnn is survived by four children: Vickie Brown- Ingram, former son in law: Carl Ingram, Michal (Janice) Brown , Janice Y. Barron (Stanley) Hall and Curtis Lamont (Stacey ) Barron. Four siblings: Ophelia Russell, Teresa (Marvin) Crawford and a brother Eddie Clark and Eddie W. (Catherine) Clark, Jr. Eleven grandchildren and two great -grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends who will miss her dearly .

The funeral service will be Saturday October 24,2015 @1:00pm at New Hope Baptist Church in Manchester, Ga
