John Thomas Hardnett

June 25, 1950 — February 25, 2019

On June 25, 1950 John Thomas Hardnett was born in Talbotton, Ga. to the late Mr. & Mrs. Frank & Estella Hardnett.

John  was a educated in Talbot County School System.  He joined the United States Army and was a proud soldier and fought in the Vietnam War.  He was also a soldier in God’s Army, a soldier for the Lord.

He later became employed with Hugh Oliver Logging Company for many years. He was well known through Talbot County. He delivered newspapers around town for many years.

On Monday, February 25, 2019, the lord dispatched angles from heaven to Columbus Hospice to usher John Thomas Hardnett into the presence of your lord and Savior Jesus Christ. John is now at rest with Jesus.

He was preceded in death by two children: Tonja Hardnett and Cornelius Hardnett; one sister: Edith V. Hardnett; One brother: Frank Hardnett Jr.

John leaves to cherish his memories: grandchildren: Shy’Kimeyun, Alexander, Mardrevius Sheffield, Xavion Sanders.  One great-grandson: Tremane Kelley, Jr. Six sisters: Ella Kate Grant, Elizabeth Johnson, Mary Hardnett, Linda Brandnak, Brenda Johnson, Estella Hardnett (Princess). nieces and nephews: Frank A. Hardnett, Valerie Harris, Troylette Burton, Kimberly Wyche, Michelle Carreker, Melissa McCrary, Robert Carreker, Lashunda Hardnett, Brandon Hardman and Jessica L. Hardnett.  A special friend : Jim Beachum and a Ex- Wife : Arlene Carter Mays.  He also leaves  host of great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends that will miss him dearly.
