Kenneth Walker

On Monday evening, July 12, 2021, Mr. Kenneth “Kenny” Walker transitioned to his Heavenly Home to be with the Lord.

Kenny was born on January 4, 1961 in Hamilton, Georgia to the late Walter and Mattie Walker.

Kenny was educated in the Harris County School System and played various sports, including basketball and football.

On November 18, 1994, Kenny married the love of his life, Angela, and the two of them shared one son, Christopher.

Kenny excelled in his professional life. He served in the US Marines from 1980 to 1986 and received ribbons and commendations for expert marksmanship, sea service deployment, and good conduct. He even travelled to Beirut, Lebanon as a member of the Multinational Peacekeeping Force. As a civilian, he worked for Goody’s in Manchester, GA and was promoted to ACE Supervisor. He then worked as a Warehouse Manager for Fokker-Aerotron in Lagrange, GA.

He enjoyed watching his beloved Atlanta Falcons on television, riding his lawn mower, spending quality time with family, vacationing in Orlando, Florida, and displaying Christmas lights for the holidays.

Kenny was preceded in death by: parents, Walter and Mattie Walker; biological father, Morris Tucker; brothers Bobby Joe, Jessie, and Lorenza Walker.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife of 27 years, Angela Walker; devoted son, Christopher Holloway; brothers, Cecil (Juileen), Curt (Ethel), and Howard (Shirley) Walker; Charlie, Marvin (Teresa), and Nathaniel (Patricia) Tucker; Minister Robert (Mary) Coverson, Arthur (Mary) Nelson; sister, Bessie Maddox; mother-in-law, Joyce Jordan; two aunts, Betty Williams and Judy Meredith; and a host of brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
