Lillie Pearl Willis

Sis. Lillie Pearl (Lit) Willis of Woodland, Ga. transitioned from this life at her home on September 20, 2015.

She was born May 9, 1929 in Woodland, Georgia to the late Jim and Susie Barnes.

She was joined in matrimony to the late Jeff B. Willis.

She was employed at Lad & Lassie Play School in Manchester, Georgia.

She joined Powell Baptist Church in Talbotton at the early age. Sis. Lillie Pearl Willis later joined Bluff Springs C.M.E. Church where she served until her health failed.

She leaves to cherish her memory two sisters: Mary Lou Stanley of Cincinnati; Ohio and Dorothy (George) Willis of Woodland, Georgia; two aunts: Louise Peters of Talbotton, Georgia and Lucy Mae Peters of Woodland, Georgia; Five sister- in- laws: Letha Barnes and Hattie Pearl Barnes both of Woodland, Georgia, Annie Lois (Ernest) Copeland of Hamilton, Georgia, Mildred Walton of Waverly Hall, Georgia and Mary McPherson of Rock Hill, NY and a host of nieces, nephews, cousin, and friends who will miss her dearly.

Funeral Service will be held Friday, September 25,2015 @1:00pm at Bluff Springs C.M.E. Church in Waverly Hall, Georgia.The burial will be held at Bluff Springs C.M.E. Church Cemetery. The visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24,2015 from 1:00pm until 8:00pm.
