Lincoln Jackson

February 14, 1941 — January 15, 2015

In his own way and for His own purpose, on January 15, 2015, God send down an angel to bring Mr. Lincoln Jackson to His eternal home.

Born February 14, 1941, in Warm Springs, Ga, he was the son of the late Cicero Jackson and Catherine Clemons Copeland. Lincoln was educated in the Meriwether County School system and graduated from Manchester High School in 1960.

After graduation he joined the United States Army and retired after 25 years and 2 months of service. During his time in the Army, Lincoln thirst for knowledge led him to further his education with numerous certifications and a B.A degree from Liberty University. He recently worked with the Defense Supply Center in Richmond, Virginia.

Lincoln Jackson accepted Christ as his personal Savior at an early age and was an active member of William Chapel C.M.E. Church while he was in Warm Springs, GA. In recent years, Lincoln was of the Protestant faith in Virginia.

He was joined in Holy matrimony to Vicky Rebecca Yambao and unto this union one son was born.

In addition to his parents, Lincoln Jackson was preceded in death by his two sisters, Margaret Jackson Beamon and Mary Will Tucker.

In addition to his wife, Rebecca, he is survived by his son, Leonard Renz Yambao Jackson of Abilene, TX; an Aunt Betty Sue Evans of Atlanta, Ga. One niece: Sharita Beamon of Atlanta, Ga., One nephew: Keith Bridges of Atlanta, Ga., A cousin Chris Harris Jr. of Beaumont, CA. He also leaves a host of other nieces, nephews and cousins around the world.
