Lizzie, a wife, mother, grandmother, great grand, auntie and a friend to all. In her early year, she worked at Woodland Furniture Plant for over 10 years and at Cagel for almost six years. She was a very dedicated worker. She loved her family and prided herself on being a good wife and mother. She was very quiet and loving person, that had few words to say, but when she did speak, it spoke volume to your soul.
Lizzie was born September 23,1934 to the late Ezra Claborn and Ella Pearl Williams- Hardnett. She accepted to Christ at an early age and joined Concord Baptist Church, where she attended faithfully until her health failed.
Lizzie was married in Holy Matrimony to Robert Miller, Sr on April 8,1952. To this union, 3 beautiful children were born, Robert Miller, Jr, Bernice Peters and Dorothy Dozier.
Ouitely on February 27,2017 around 5:20am, at Columbus Hospice, God stopped by and said, "Lizzie, come go with me, your time on this earth cannot be extended. She closed her eyes and said "Jesus, I am ready".
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Miller, Sr, two sisters, Thelma Little and Leila Nell Stevenson, seven brothers, Andrew Jimmy, Arthur Sr, Claborn Jr, Arnold, Tom Bell and Square Hardnett, and son Robert Miller, Jr.
She leaves to cherish her memories, two children Dorothy (Henry) Dozier of Shiloh, GA; Bernice (Henry "Bo") Peters of Woodland, GA; granddaughters Shamauna and LeQuita Peters, and one great granddaughter, Amiya McGhee, brother Jerry Hardnett of Manchester, GA, stepson Delay (Mary) Miller, sister-laws Georgia Hardnett of Atlanta, GA and Odessa Hardnett of Woodland, GA, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many loving friends.
