Sister Lula Blount Holt was born August 16,1916 in Talbot County to the late Ed and Martha Blount.
Lula was a active member of Friendship Baptist Church until her health failed her. She also was a faithful Usher.
Lula married her husband Willie Jay Holt and one sons was born John Lewis Holt (deceased). She also raised two children as her own the late Earline Leonard Chaney and Eugene Holt.
She leaves to cherish her memory one son, Mr. Eugene Holt, Woodland, GA; three grandchildren Shinita Holt, Atlanta, GA; Bernadette Holt Davis, Atlanta, GA; Eugene Holt (Glory), Griffin, GA; Jackie Holt and Stacy Holt, both (deceased), four great grandchildren, six great- great grandchildren, one sister, Carrie Holt, Woodland, GA; Florence Hinson (deceased), one brother, Jerry, Leonard, Blount, (all deceased), two sister-in-law, Ann Blount, Evenly Blount, a host of nieces and nephews.
