Maebelle Mcdowell

November 14, 1923 — October 28, 2017

Mother Maebelle Pulliam McDowell was born November 14, 1923 in Camphill, Alabama to the late Sook Pulliam.

Sis. Turner was the only girl of two boys, John L. Bridges and Alfred B. Bridges both proceeded her in death. Sis. Turner accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior at an early age and was baptized in the Church of Christ where she served until she took ill.

In 1939 she was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Flanders McDowell. To this union two sons was born Carl and Earl McDowell both proceed her in death. Two granddaughters proceeded her in death (Debbie and Tracy McDowell.)

She was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church.

She department this life on October 28, 2017 at the Warm Springs Nursing Home.

Remaining to recall memories: One grandson: Earl (Debra) McDowell who were her Caregivers. Four granddaughters: Kimberly ( Maurice) Jones of Woodland, GA.; Donna and Crystal McDowell of Detroit, MI.; and Cyaandii Rhon Marie ( Lou) Piechuta of Chicago, Ill. Fifteen great grand children and sixteen great-great-grandchildren. One sister-in-law: Jan McDowell Jones of Philadelphia, Penn. A dear and devoted cousin Helen Houston of Detroit, Michigan. She also leaves a host of cousins, relatives and friends that will miss her dearly.

A very special thanks to Katrina and McKenna Brown and Cedric Stanford, Taden (Hudson) and Mrs. Liz McDowell.

We thank Columbus Hospice and Warm Springs Nursing Home. Thanks also to Dr. Victor Lambert and the staff of Smith Lambert Clinic for the years of service render to (MaeB).
