Martha Ann Buchanan Render was born March 15, 1953 in Manchester, Meriwether County, Georgia to the late parents of Claudie and Emily Ruth Buchanan. She was called to eternal rest on April 4, 2020.
Martha accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal savior at an early age. She graduated from Manchester High School Class of 1971 which was the first integrated senior class of MHS. After graduation, Martha married Robert Render and together they raised a wonderful son, Travis D. Render.
Martha was a devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoyed taking care of her two grandsons. She was a very kindhearted person. Martha was always willing to help others. She will always be loved and remembered by her many acts of kindness and the many friends she acquired along life’s journey. Martha was preceded in death by her sister, Annierene Buchanan; brother, Willie Claude Buchanan.
Martha leaves to cherish her most precious memories: Loving son, Travis Render of Atlanta, Ga.; two grandsons, Travis Render, Jr. and Alonzo Render; three sisters, Earline (Wayne) Pitts, Manchester, Ga., Emma (William) Wyatt, Decatur, Ga., Donna (Gary) Munson, Stone Mt. Ga.; one brother, Alexander Buchanan, Manchester, Ga.; one sister - in- law, Martha J. Buchanan, Shiloh, Ga. , and aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
