Maxie Anette Finley

Maxie Annette Finley was born August 1 ^st , 1942 to the late William Caphus and Everlee Jarrett.

Maxie grew up in Harris and Talbot County and later moved to Fulton  County where she started a family.  She was joined in a sacred union of Matrimony to Bennie Finley.

Maxie was employed by the State of Georgia where she worked at the State’s Capital and Twin Towers Cafeteria for over 30 years.  After serving many years with the state and retiring, She moved to Douglas County until her departure.

Maxie served as a dedicated disciple of the Valley Grove Baptist Church until her health started to decline.   She departed this earthly home to her heavenly home peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, February 22, 2022.

She was proceeded in death by her parents William and Everlee Jarrett and siblings Jessie Lee Jarrett, Barbara Jean Harris and Charlie Milton Jarrett.

Maxie Annette Finley leaves to cherish her memories two devoted sons: Bernard (Tina) Foster, Charlie (Stephanie) Heard and two loving daughters: Yolando (Eddie) Hutchison and Bernidetta Annette Herrington.  Grandkids: Shardae Foster, Andreana Carlton D’ Antonio McMullen, Whitley Heard, Jasmine Foster, Nadia Herrington and Kyla Herrington.  Great Grandkids: Amillya, Stephen, McKenzie and Azaria.  Two brothers: Earnest (Rosa) Jarrett, Jimmie (Minnie Pearl ) Jarrett.  Three sisters: Mattie Copeland, Beulah ( John) Wortham and Elaine (Johnny) Hardnett.  A host of nieces, nephews, family and friends that loved her dearly.
