Eddie Wells was born on August 18, 1957, to the late Eddie Truitt Sr. and the late Addie Wells in Manchester, Georgia.
He attended and graduated from Central High with the Class of 1975, and later attended Columbus State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. He was member of the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity. After graduating from college, he became employed with Fort Gilliam. After retiring from the Federal Government, he went into business with his brother Kenneth to start Wells Home Improvements.
He was a book Genius, and too smart for his own good.
He joined St. Paul at an early age where he accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior and loved his church.
On Saturday, November 5, 2022, at 8:05 the Lord called Eddie from labor to rest.
He is preceded in death by his parents; a sister: Patricia Wilcox.
He leaves to cherish his memories his siblings: Janice, Gregory, Bridie, Kyle, Kenneth, Wayne, and Brenda Wells all of Manchester, GA.; Sharon and Quen Wells of Snellville, Georgia and a half brother: George Giddens
He also leaves a host of other nieces, nephews, friends and relatives that will miss him dearly.
