Pastor Dianne Childs

A Life To Be Remembered

Pastor Dianne Childs was born on January 26, 1955 to the late Willie K. Childs and the late Willie Mae Weaver Childs.

On December 29, 2014, our Heavenly Father called his Angel home to be at rest.

Pastor Childs was preceded in death by one sister Mrs. Annie Mae Haynes.

She joined the Concord Baptist Church of Woodland, GA. at an early age. Later in 2007, she joined the Greater Saint Phillips Methodist Church of Talbotton, Ga. where she was currently serving as the Church Pastor.

Pastor Childs was a graduate of Manchester Public Schools. She attended various colleges and the Theological Seminary. Phillips College where she received a degree in Medical Administration. LaGrange College where she received a degree in Human Development with a Minor in Sociology and Psychology.

Pastor Childs was currently employed with the Unity Elementary School of Luthersville, Ga. as a Paraprofessional. She had previously worked as an Office Manager at J93.3/ WVFJ and Mountain 95.5 Radio Stations.

Pastor Childs leaves to cherish her memories two sisters: Josephine (George) Trimble and Julia (Milton) Haynes and two brothers: Rayford (Bertha) Childs and Bert Childs all of Philadelphia, PA.; One Brother-in-law Charlie Haynes of Reading, PA.; One Aunt: Bertha (Frank) Doleman of Reading, PA.; The Entire Church Family of St. Phillips Methodist Church of Talbotton, Georgia. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will miss her dearly.
