Sis. Rainey Ellison Buchanan was born to the late Will and Maude Ellison on October 29, 1924, in HarrisCounty, Ga.

She entered into eternal rest on Monday, September 29, 2014.

She was a member of Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in Raleigh, Ga.

She worked as a Housekeeper untilher health declined.

She was joined in Holy Matrimony to the late Jim Buchanan.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Jim Buchanan, Son: Jesse James (Nig) Buchanan,Granddaughter: Denise Harris.She leaves to cherish her loving memory four daughters: Alma, Betty and Shellie Buchanan all ofManchester, GA.; Ruby Febry of Shiloh, GA.;. Two Sons: Flea and Freddie Buchanan both ofManchester, GA.; One daughter-in-law: Linda Buchanan of Manchester, GA.; One Sister: Ruby Stinsonof Warm Springs, GA.; Ten grandchildren, Twenty-seven great- grandchildren; Three great- greaatgrandchildren. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends who will miss herdearly.
