Raymond Rufus Blue

Raymond Rufus Blue was born on September 17,1954 to the late Leola Mullins and Henry Blue. He departed this life on July 10,2016.

"Blue" as he was affectionately called accepted Christ at an early age. He attended Ruth Carter High School in Talbotton, Ga. He was very handy and turned this gift into a lifelong career of construction. He had an extremely passionate love and appreciation for his family and if you had the pleasure of crossing paths with him, you would have loved and appreciated him also.

"Blue" is preceded in death by his parents, Heny & Leloa Blue; two brothers, Henry Eugene and Robert; two sisters, Annie Kate and Mary Lee.

He leaves to cherish his memories, a very special, loving and devoted companion, Hazel Benny; three children, Christopher Blue, Tonya Bowles, and Navottious Howe; seven grandchildren; three sisters, Helen Andrews (Wilbert), Queen Smith (Amos), and Carolyn Coverson (Roger); one brother, Johnny Blue (Diane); one aunt; two brother-in-laws, Billy Jones and Jimmy Ellison; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him dearly.
