Robert C. was born June 13,1944 to the late Sterlin and Martha Carreker. He departed this life April 5,2015 at Southern Crescent Hospital for Specialty Care in Riverdale, GA.
Robert joined Friendship Baptist Church Woodland, GA at an early age. He late move to Atlanta, GA where he retired as a truck driver for Nottingham Chemical Company, after over 40 years of service.
He was preceded in death by two brothers Willie D. Carreker and Jesse M. Carreker.
He loves to cherish his memory a loving family.His wife Linda Carreker Woodland, GA 5 children Pamela (Arthur) Cox, Jonesboro, GA; Beverly (Joseph) Alexander, East Point, GA; Emmanuel Carreker, Jeffery Carreker and Catrina Carreker of Atlanta, GA; One Stepson Tony Owens, Upper Marlboro, Maryland. Nine grandchildren, one great grandchild, one brother Jasper Carreker, four sister Barbara Carreker of Atlanta, GA. One sister in law Susie Carreker; one uncle David King; four aunts Fannie Bell Crouch, Johnnie Bell King, Louise Carreker & Essie M. King and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.
