Sis. Bennie D. 'Bonnie' Green

March 8, 1938 — February 27, 2015

Sis. Bennie D. Melson known as (Bonnie) was born on March 8, 1938 in Talbot County to the late AB and Bertha Melson.

On February 27, 2015, our Heavenly Father called his Angel home to be at rest.

She joined the St. Paul C.M.E Church at an early age.

Mrs. Bonnie was an Entrepreneur of her own Daycare Mother Goose Nursery for over 20 years. Mrs. Bonnie was a caregiver to many children. She serviced children in all the local cities which included Talbot, Meriwether and Harris County. She was dedicated to her family. She had an ear to anyone who came in contact with her. Always had a good compliment and positive advice for whom or whoever she had a conversation with. She was a beautiful, phenomenal woman inside and outside.

She was united in marriage to the late Arthur (Red) Green of Shiloh, Ga. and to this union they had five children.

She leaves five dedicated, loving children: Elain (Aldine) McFelters, Gail Green, Tracy Green, all of Shiloh, GA.; Gerry ( Brittiana) Green, Jonesboro, GA.; Kerry (Antonett) Green, Union City, GA.; One sister: Joann (John) Carter, Atlanta, GA.; One brother: Willie (Dee) Melson, Shiloh, GA.; five grandchildren: Tony Green, Tameka Green, Aileena Steed, Kennedy Green and Gabrielle Green. One adopted grandchild: Keyasha Lofton. One great-grandchild: Chris Green. A host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends that she loved with all her heart.
