Tara Yvette Hardnett was born on March 4, 1974 to Johnny and Elaine Hardnett.
Tara grew up in Talbot County. She graduated from Central Elementary and Central High School in Talbotton, Georgia in 1992. After high school Tara attended Tuskegee University and Columbus State University and received her Bachelor’s Degree.
Tara’s first job was at Duck’s Trolley and then she later went to work at Goody Products for 5 years. She later became employed with the Department of Family Children Services as a Supervisor for 22 years until her health failed.
She was also a member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. with a passion and dedication.
She joined Valley Grove Baptist Church at an early age and served faithfully. She departed this earthly home to her heavenly home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, March 2, 2022.
She was proceeded in death by her sister Stephanie Lafaye Hardnett.
Tara Yvette Hardnett leaves to cherish one daughter: Kennedy Simon Dickerson who she loved so much. Loving parents: Johnny and Elaine Hardnett. A God daughter: Katrina Holmes and devoted friend: Travis Holmes. Two Uncles : Jimmie (Minnie Pearl) Jarrett, Earnest (Rosa) Jarrett. Three aunts: Jennie (Eugene) Watson, Mattie Copeland, Beulah ( John) Wortham. A host of cousins, family and friends that loved her dearly.
