Thelma Lee Harris

Sis. Thelma Lee Harris was born November 8, 1925 to the late Lillie Marshall Brown and Willie Lee Prather.

She departed this life on the morning of June 24, 2019 peacefully  in her home in Manchester, GA.

She united with New Hope Baptist Church at an early age.  She was a member and worked on the Usher Board until her health failed.  Thelma Lee loved the Lord.  She was a friendly person who loved everyone and helped a lot of people.  She worked at the Callaway Mill for over 50 Years and later became employed with Roosevelt Institute for many years until her health failed.

She was preceded in death by her sister: Sarah Hill and brother: Chester Taylor.

She leaves to cherish precious memories a devoted husband of 68 years Willie Lee Harris.  A devoted niece, Ruby (Haskell) Anthony, devoted nephew: Rufus (Linda) Hill, also two other nieces: Debbie Taylor Gamble and Tonya Taylor. Three Great Nieces: Keisha Revell, Lanera Hill, Demetrise (Eric) Williams.  Three Great Nephews: Cordney (Sabrina) Anthony, Covan Hill and Muhummad (Mesha) Hill. A devoted cousin Brenda Holmes. One aunt-in-law: Ruby Harris, Cousins: James and Carolyn Harris and family, Cora Davis, Christine Harris. Very special friends: Tildren Buchannan, Ms. Tina Holloway, Mrs. Christine Waller, Mrs. Janie White and Sarah Gamble. She also leaves host of relatives and friends  that will miss her dearly.
