Valeria Felicia Williams

December 19, 1963 — April 2, 2020

Sister Valeria F. Williams was born to the late Robert E. Williams and Geraldine Williams on December 19, 1963 in Meriwether County.  She was affectionately given the name Paula soon after birth.  On April 2, 2020 she was called home.

She was a faithful member of New Hope Baptist Church for many years.  She loved attending Sunday School and worshipping with other churches.  Her love and devotion to the Lord was truly remarkable.  She served the Lord in her daily walk.  Even in the days of her failing health, she praised the Lord.

Valeria graduated from Manchester High School in 1981.  She was very family oriented and enjoyed cooking for the kids and taking them to the park – basically she enjoyed spending time with her grand kids, nieces and nephews.

She spent 20 yrs. working for Goody Products in Manchester, Ga.  During her time there she received several awards of dedication and service.  Other jobs were at Angio Dynamics and Roosevelt Warm Springs Specialty Hospital until her health failed.  She made many friends, shared lots of smiles, and made a lasting impression on many of those she encountered.

She leaves to love and always cherish her memory a dear son, Marquise Williams, three wonderful grandkids, Kamiya, Khamoni, and KaNyla Williams; a loving mother, Geraldine Williams, grandmother, Leandy Prather, her sister and best friend, Michelle (Gerry) Marshall, her twin brother, Manuel “Paul” (Sabrina) Williams, and two other wonderful brothers, Trenton (Gail) Williams and Hakeem (Jawahir)  Mohamed; three nieces: Ratalya Williams, Tenisha Williams and Khadija Mohamed, three nephews:  Jamaury /Yessic Williams, Gavares Gray and Assad Mohamed, one great niece Amirah Williams and one great nephew Xeconi Williams; Five Aunties:  Joyce (Perry) Harvey, Johnnie Owens, Teresa (Charlie) Collins, Beverly (Jesse) O’Neal and Theo Williams; two uncles, Daniel (Theresa) Owens and Reginald Prather; a special God daughter Shantavius “Angel” Newson.  She also leaves a  host of cousins, relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
