Willie Jasper Ferguson

Mr. Willie Jasper Ferguson, age 76, was born in Manchester, GA on February 16, 1948, and passed away after a lengthy illness on Thursday, January 23, 2025, in Atlanta, Georgia.

Willie was born to the late Lawrence Ferguson and Elizabeth Ferguson. He was the eighth of nine children. He became a member of the New Hope Baptist Church at an early age and remained a member until his passing. He attended Meriwether County Training School. He resided in Talbotton, GA and moved to Atlanta, GA, where he worked various jobs throughout his life.

He leaves to mourn his wife, Mary Gold Ferguson; daughter Tamara Ferguson; sons Keiveon Ferguson, Antonio (Chequita) Ferguson, and Marcus (Tonya) Ferguson; one grandson, Keiveon Rose; brothers, Jonas (Emma) Ferguson and Solomon (Janice) Ferguson, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
